Walking Around the Christmas Tree

November 23rd, 2011

The elves at DRD Pools are busy working on their 4th annual Christmas tree for Kennedy Krieger’s Festival of Trees.  This annual holiday event is a fund-raiser for Kennedy Krieger Institute based in Baltimore.  Kennedy Krieger researches ways to improve the lives of children with developmental disabilities.  DRD Pools participates in the annual event in order to give back to the local community and help raise awareness for the children that are helped by the Institute.

Allen Watts has once again come up with a creative tree concept causing Meghan Gawryck’s tree design ideas to go into overdrive.  Swing by the Timonium Fairgrounds the weekend of November 25-27 and look for the DRD tree entitled “It’s A Bourbon Street Christmas”.  Entry fees and proceeds benefit the children and families of the Kennedy Krieger Institute.  For complete event information and details go to http://festivaloftrees.kennedykrieger.org/
