Farewell to Long-Time DRD Employee, Josh Ploch

After more than 15 years of employment with DRD Pools, Josh Ploch has resigned as Director of Personnel. Josh and his family are moving to Tulsa, Oklahoma and embarking on new challenges! Over the course of his 15-plus years at DRD, Josh rose from the ranks of Lifeguard at a small community pool to the Director of Personnel overseeing the hiring and training of more than 1,000 lifeguards annually. He has made significant contributions to the growth and success of DRD over the years, and we wish Josh all the best with his future endeavors!

DRD Pools in Hunt Valley adds New Hire

Nataliya Lutsiv is a new Personnel Assistant in the DRD Pools Hunt Valley office, and she will work with Charlene in the western region Nataliya was an international student who was interviewed in the Ukraine in 2006 at the CIEE (Council of International Educational Exchange) road show. She was accepted into the program and worked for DRD Pools in Anne Arundel County during the summer of 2006. Nataliya returned in 2008 and served as a Pool Manager, and the following two summers was a Field Supervisor. Welcome back, Nataliya—we look forward to another great year with you at DRD.

Joe Schmitz Hired as Regional Director at DRD Pools in Hunt Valley

Effective October 1st, 2010, DRD Pools has a new Regional Director, Joe Schmitz. Joe will work directly with DRD field supervisors to help maintain our high level of service and provide operational oversight and support to the on-site staff. Joe will be working in Central Region. Welcome aboard, Joe!

Russell Bestenheider named DRD Pools Eastern Region Staffing Coordinator

Russell Bestenheider, a veteran DRD employee, was named the Eastern Region Staffing Coordinator and Training Program Coordinator in the last quarter of 2010. Contact him at rbestenheider@drdpools.com.
